Caring for your Sim Tech / Tipton Bar

Sim Tech and Tipton bars are chrome plated brass.

Chrome plated brass offers great tone because of the weight and minimal drag coefficient
between the bar and strings; however, it can get dinged or dented if it takes impact from a
hard, pointed object, so when not in use, please store your bar in the original vial it came in or
in a good storage box where it won’t come into direct contact with your other gear.

We also recommend the “Slyde Compartment” offered by Jerrett Hall, which can be found here:

If your bar needs to be cleaned, please use hand soap and water and dry with a clean cloth.
