We have received many requests for a bar for people with large hands. As a result, we have made some RT-3 bars with a full top flute. The traditional RT-3 has the top flute beveled on the front edges and the front of the flute blended into the 22.5-degree ends the way Ron Tipton did them. The RT-3 FTF does not have any beveling or blending into the front angle, resulting in a robust bar that should accommodate very large hands.
In the pictures with two bars, the RT-3FTF is the bar on the left and the traditional RT-3 is on the right for comparison. All of the other dimensions remain the same. The playing surface of the bar is 3.125" long and the FTF weighs a tiny bit more than the traditional version.

The RT-3 is Josh Swift's bar of choice! It is our largest bar with a playing surface of 3.125" and also weighs around 5.3 ounces.
The RT-2 has 16.25 degree angled ends and has a playing surface of 3". The RT-2 seems to be the most popular of the "Tipton" style bars being the "tweener" of the Tipton models.

The RT-1 is the OG Tipton bar. It measures 2.9" on the playing surface and has 10 degree angled ends. It weighs around 5.3 ounces +/- 0.050.
The ST-1 is our new model and the bar of choice for Rob Ickes! It measures 3" long on the playing surface and has 0.950" radiused ends. This is a very comfortable bar to play and makes slants effortless. The ends are sharp for crisp, clean hammer-ons and pull-offs. The ST-1 is made from the same stock as the Tipton bars, so it retains the taller height for additional comfort while still maintaining a low center of gravity. The ST-1 weighs around 5.3 ounces.
